Aitor Llimerá Galduf, director de la Banda Juvenil

He began his musical studies at the School of the Primitiva Band of Llíria, under the guidance of his father, Vicent Llimerá. He continued his studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Llíria and completed his oboe studies at the "Joaquín Rodrigo" Higher Conservatory of Music in Valencia, mentored by Francisco Salanova. He earned the "Honorable Mention and Final Career Prize," concurrently pursuing Composition studies with Andrés Valero-Castells in Valencia and later with Ferrer Ferran at the "Salvador Seguí" Higher Conservatory of Music in Castellón. He holds a Ph.D. in Music from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in the Art: Production and Research Ph.D. program.
He has pursued advanced studies with Löthar Koch, David Walter, Stefan Schilli, Hänsjorg Schellenberger, Victor Ánchel, Jesús Fuster, Roberto Turlo, Francisco José Valero-Castells, Rafael Tamarit, Fabian Schäfer, and Ensemble Miró. Aitor has won first prizes in various youth competitions, including the National Competition of Interpretation Intercentros in the Professional Education category, the National Young Interpreters Competition of Castellnovo, and the International Young Interpreters Competition of Llíria.
As a student, he was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), the Symphony Orchestra of Young Latin Americans, and the Ibero-American Orchestra, all
conducted by Gustavo Dudamel under the guidance of Maestro José Antonio Abreu. He was also part of the Young Orchestra of the Valencian Government (JOGV), where he performed as a soloist in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante and Franck Martin's Concerto for Winds, with the Antiphon Ensemble and the Jeunesse Musicales World Orchestra, conducted by Josep Vicent.
Aitor has collaborated as principal oboe and English horn with the National Orchestra of Spain, Barcelona and National Catalonia Orchestra, Valencia Orchestra, ADDA Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, Castelló Symphony Orchestra, València Instrumental Group, Symphony Orchestra of Valencia, working with conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Jordi Savall, Jirí Bêlohlávek, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Manuel Galduf, Juanjo Mena, and others. He has recorded for Naxos, Radio Nacional de España, Medici TV, Catalunya Musica, Radio Nacional de Catalunya, TV3.
As a soloist, Aitor has performed with the Valencia Orchestra, Barcelona Municipal Band, Santiago de Compostela Municipal Band, Orchestra of the Superior Conservatory of Castilla-La Mancha, Valencia Camerata, Band of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Orchestra and Band of the Primitiva de Llíria, and Orchestra of the Professional Conservatory of Music of Llíria, showcasing significant oboe concertos by R. Strauss, W. A. Mozart, A. Pasculli, J. S. Bach, A. Vivaldi. As a composer, he has created works to expand the oboe repertoire, including Studie n.1 (2012) for oboe and electronics, and Shoot (2021) for oboe and fixed media. He is currently working on a fusion project, reflected in the release of the first single, Luccio 447, and the production of a second fusion music project in the form of an album.
As a guest professor, he has conducted masterclasses at institutions such as the Universität der Künste Berlin, "Joaquín Rodrigo" Higher Conservatory of Music in Valencia, Iberacademy (Colombia), EAFIT University in Medellín, University of Medellín, Luisa D’Annunzio Conservatory of Music in Pescara (Italy), and other professional conservatories in Spain, including Almansa, Llíria, or Cullera. Currently affiliated with the Valencia International Music Festival, he served as Oboe Professor at the Higher Conservatory of Castilla-La Mancha from 2013 to 2022, is a founding member of the Obac ensemble, Vent a Cinc quintet, and Mora & Llimerá Duo. He is currently Oboe Professor at the "José Iturbi" Municipal Conservatory of Valencia, while also supervising various doctoral theses at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Aitor perfoms with the Marigaux 901.
